My First Place Academy is located right in Port St. Lucie, at 1991 SW Savage Blvd — which means for families across the city, we're not a commute, we're a neighbor. We built this academy for Port St. Lucie families who want more than supervision during the workday: a real bilingual early-education program, from infant care through VPK, taught in English and Spanish from the first day.
Why Port St. Lucie Families Choose Bilingual Immersion
Port St. Lucie is one of the fastest-growing and most diverse cities on the Treasure Coast, and a lot of local families are raising bilingual kids at home already — or want to. Total immersion classrooms give children a second language the way they picked up their first: through daily conversation, songs, routines, and play, not a once-a-week lesson bolted onto an English-only day.
Programs Available to Port St. Lucie Families
- Infant care — a calm, sensory-first environment for your baby's first time away from home
- One Year Old and Two Year Old classrooms — language development, sensory play, and sign-language support
- Three Year Old and Four Year Old programs — play-based learning building toward kindergarten readiness
- VPK — partnered with the Early Learning Coalition, free for eligible Florida four-year-olds
- Before & After School Care and Summer Camp for school-age children
What Local Parents Can Expect
Our academy sits in a purpose-built facility with a private parking area, video-monitored premises, and a synthetic-turf playground — designed specifically for early childhood, not adapted from another use. Meals are coordinated through a Florida Department of Health partnership and built into the daily lesson plan rather than treated as a break from learning. Owners Veronica and Aracelly Forero stay directly involved in classroom life, observing and supporting teachers so quality stays consistent room to room.
